Abstract: Through researching and analyzing the drilling complicatedness of special stratum conditions in auxiliary vertical shafts and return-air vertical shafts of Hetaoyu spit, construction of main shaft is determined to adopt freezing methods. Based on the freezing depth and special geological condition of these two shafts, this paper put forward four important factors for shaft design: I. Combined consideration for Ultra-deep freezing shaft wall design and freezing pressure of rock segment.II. The influence of static water level in quifer and load reduction coefficient on shaft-lining load calculation.III. Methods for setting up monolithic pouring shaft wall.IV. Other factors to be considered in the design of Ultra-deep freezing shaft lining structure.
